Numbers are a bit early to predict, but at this point I would say that Bernier has the potential to score probobly between 15 and 25 goals a season with likely a similar number of assists. Most of his goals are garbage goals which are okay, but he is not the most creative player on the ice, nor is he very quick. If you want to read a profile of him, I did one about two months ago on the Canucks page.

Potential wise, his upside is somewhere between a 2nd line or 3rd line big-man.

I would compare him roughly to Scott Thornton at the moment.

Scott Thornton isn't bad. Can never get enough third liners ;)
