works for me. Cheap, but solid enough. He's no Boyle, but every cheap person better than Smith(read everyone) pushes Smith 1 spot down towards never having to see him on the team again

That certainly works. A nice short term solution to the fourth line center position. Gives time for Gauthier to fully recover and if nothing else can re-examine the situation later on.

Meh. Not the greatest option nor the worst. Contract is fine. Would've def preferred Boyle back.

Leafs are gonna be a really soft bunch. Hoping we add some sort of size this offseason. At the very least, give Josh Leivo a chance

Good D, Good on the faceoff and kill some penalties and I'll be happy.

Moore is incredibly solid. Not as good as Boyle, but ultimately will make the 4th line stable

What? Moore comes at a about a 3rd of the cost of Boyle and only one year. Moore is still pretty darn good. Looked good in Boston.

Moore is still about as good as he was when we last him way back when.

Can move onto the 3rd line if need be, but a 4th on a good team

Love this!

Exactly and Moore plays with a ton of heart and soul. Brings experience as well, I am good with this signing. Low risk high reward.

This is a really solid deal.

Significantly cheaper option than Boyle and only 1 year. Great on FO's, effective PKer, good skater, will bring more offence to the 4th line. Doesn't have the toughness but can't complain given the price tag.
