Way to go Toon Town! I just got back from the Final. Great job by Saskatoon's coaching staff to adjust their game in order to shut down the speedy Team Illinois club. Team Illinois beat the Contacts 4-1 in the preliminary round.
Overall, a great showing by Saskatchewan teams with three making it through to the quarter-finals. In the Consolation Game, Edmonton Knights of Columbus Pats defeated the Saskatoon Blazers.
Congratulations to a deserving Saskatoon Contacts team. And kudos to the organizing committee of this great tournament. The Mac's Tournament is a must see event!
