He is a Stay-At-Home .... I heard , but some people keep making up BS and saying he's an offensive D-man .

What is his offensive upside? I saw some contradictory reports--some saying he is defensive only, others saying that he is good offensively and on the power play. Which is it?

Going strictly on an "it sounds like" basis, which maybe doesn't help, but...
it sounds like Lyamin is strictly defensive *now*, but that he has pretty good tools and is pretty smooth on his feet and pretty smart, so you could almost like to imagine that one day (like many another seemingly low-scoring Russian teenage defenseman before him) he would translate some of that into a few points on the board.

So... not "good offensively", but with enough basic skill that you could use him a few different situations once he matures, and he might put up a few points. (Talking 20-30 here, nothing radical). Maybe. (I'm just going by hunches though, so ignore this if you don't like hunches). Maybe somebody who has seen him can add or subtract some support to this hunch?
