Anyways, the kid just got a hat trick today to up his stat line to 11 points (9 goals) in seven games. That seems like the kind of performance that had him projected as a top-20 pick for much of last year.
Can anybody give updates on how he has been playing, beyond the stat sheet? Is he benefiting from line mates, is he driving his team’s offense, etc.
If he truly is playing very well, the NHL might have to start coming up with some rules to stop the Ducks from snagging steals every draft.
