Looking for words of wisdom

Hi all,

My brother (who checks these boards and will no doubt see this post) is starting a Keeper pool this fall. We're keeping it simple - 1 point for a goal/assist, regardless of position, and a somewhat complex matrix for goalies (ala Dobbie pool).

I'm just looking for some words of wisdom from anyone that has/is doing a keeper pool - youth over experience? inaugural draft going for a cup in 3 years as opposed to right away? etc etc etc

*btw our league has 12f,5d,2g with 8 keepers at the end of the season. No cap.
