Dennis Maruk:
The Unforgettable Story of Hockey’s Forgotten 60-Goal Man
Only 20 men in NHL history have scored 60 or more goals in a single season:
Gretzky, Lemieux, and Hull all hit the magical mark.
And so did an undersized, take-no-prisoners centre named Dennis Maruk.
When Maruk found the back of the net 60 times in 1981–82, he was the toast of Washington ― he even dined with the president.
A few short years later, he was out of the game.
Maruk not only left the rink, his life did a complete 180.
Instead of flying up the ice and in on goal, he was behind the wheel of a service ship in the Gulf of Mexico. Instead of setting up teammates, he was setting up furniture for Goldie Hawn.
He was never sent down to the farm as a rookie, but after the game he was a farmhand for John Oates. And instead of fighting in the corners, Dennis Maruk found himself fighting for his life.

If Victor Mete returns to London after the WJC's, do the Knights turn around and
surprise everyone by acquiring every single trade chip at the deadline like last year?

Based on Simpson comment in the LFP he's talking more about strategic type of acquisitions over the big trade, of which it worked well in the past for them without giving away the future. I am fine with that as long it keeps team chemistry intact.

I don't know about you and the rest of the fans but I intent to watch a full team I would be disapointed if only a couple players showed up - lol - I think the Sting will bring a full team too.

Robert Thomas
KHL may be banning players from playing at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
If so, that would badly hamper Team Canada who were planning
on using Canadian KHL players for their roster.
Will Team Canada use Junior players like Robert Thomas for the Olympics?

In your opinion, what have been the best trades by the London Knights?
There are several that come to mind.
Aaron Berisha.
Joseph Raaymakers

Berisha wasn’t even the best part of his own trade. The Knights got Berisha and the pick that turned into Robert Thomas in exchange for Brett Welychka. That’s a no brainer for best trade.
Steve Mason trade worked out pretty well for the Knights.

But I thought the KHL was going to participate?

Don't think that way Snippit, I know Thomas is the leader of this team and is very important to the team's success, but he is still one player of a 20-22 men team. When a big chunk of your team goes missing a sign of a good team their caractere will usually take over and players will step up their plays to take the slack. I still like this team they have shown an impressive adversity since the start, this team will continue to be positive no matter what they have to face up to. IMHO

How do you know what they are looking for?
Are you an Inside source?

How do you know they are sleeping?

All you need to do is look at their roster and look back at the games they have played so far and how their production from the right side is doing, even with LH shooters playing in that position. Open the pages or review the games on the replays. check it out for yourself, don't believe in what I write I am just a fan.
