~ Players have option after year four, to renegotiate.
~ Do not expected a press conference, just press releases. Press conference depending on ratification at weeks end. Press conference to be on July 21st.
~ Bob McKenzie confirms 54 percent, payroll % at escrow, Cap floor at 21.5m, ceiling at 39m. Player can make 20% team max. 450k sal minimum PER player. 10:30am eastern Sportscenter.
~ Draft lottery could be held as early as next week, after ratification.
~ Players to vote on deal in Toronto and on NHLPA website http://www.nhlpasource.com/.
~ McKenzie says 12 noon NHLPA conference call is with team reps. Could be for ratification details. Vote could be in Toronto for local players, website for those not in Toronto. More details coming. 11:30am Sportscenter

~ Russ Conway from the Eagle Tribune reports on mojoradio that players after 7 years of service will become UFAs. Mentions Thornton and Iginla. Bob McKenzie has addressed this issue by saying it doesnt kick in until 2007. So Joe and Iginla are not UFAs until 2007.
~ Lottery Draft will be weighted. Every team will get atleast 1 ball. Per Bob McKenzie.
~ 2003 Unsigned Draftees[Carter/Richards etc] will have a window to sign with their clubs. Subjected to old CBA Rookie maximum minus 24%. With a 30% max signing bonus. Per Bob McKenzie.
