Is he pummeling Kevin Kaminski? Certainly it's not the greatest, most heroic Cap fighter of all time, in Bob Gould.

nah, gould was gone IIRC before may arrived and that person is too big to be killer....

methinks its one rob murray.

Good pull. I loved that Kypreos Murray May line...the year we had 10 guys with 100 pims. Now, we struggle to have 1 guy with 100. Wow has the league changed.

Smokin Al oddly chose May roughing up a Cap, of all his fights to break in his twitter. Further, to how the league has changed. Camps are fight free. Maybe its a photo from the personal smokin al collection.

@dcsportsbog: Dang I didn't even make it past the first morning skate of the Caps season without asking a player about how we're all gonna die eventually

Dan Steinberg...beacon of hope.

FWIW per the Caps org. listings they've hired Peter Ihnacak as European amateur scout. He was one of the many Leafs scouts axed after Hunter took over a couple years ago. In his first draft with the Leafs in '06 the Leafs took four European players (Kulemin, Holzer, Stalberg & Komarov) that are all still in the league. Tlusty at 13 was a bust but picks that early are made collectively. A year later the Leafs drafted Carl Gunnarsson late, though that may have been thanks to another long-time Leafs scout hired that year (and fired along with him and many others in 2015). Hard to know how much credit he deserves on those first couple years and after that the Leafs basically missed on every mid-to-late European player until he was fired (aside from maybe Andreas Johnson). So a mixed record at best, albeit with ample experience. He happens to be the Leafs rookie scoring leader as well but Matthews should carve that up in due time.

Also, ex-Caps Euro scout Petri Skriko is listed as a pro scout for the Calgary Flames.

Reeeaaaaally hard to judge one guy's resume from within the bowels of Leaf Front Office Land.

Hahaha

I watched both Inhacak (Maple Leafs) and Skriko (Flying V uni Canucks) back in the day.

Had no idea they were scouting.

There's another great video of him laughing when a robber falls of a ladder seven times trying to escape the convenience store he was attempting to rob.
