Kristian Huselius broke out of his season long scoring slump in a fine manner, helping to beat Martin Sedin's Tampa Bay Lightning in Nashville 5-3. Huselius had a goal and 2 assists, Sean Avery added 2 goals and Eric Lindros scored 3 assists - in his last game for the Predators.

Predators fans learned right after the game that Eric Lindros had been traded to Atlanta. "We expected more of this season and Eric expected more. Atlanta is gearing up and we think this is a place where he can help win some more than here. We are excited to add a good defensive forward in Dave Scatchard and some valuable draft picks. The upcoming entry draft is very deep and we might be able to steal a player with that second rounder coming here." GM Kapfenberger said about the trade.

Kari Lehtonen returned for Nashville after being scratched in favour of Craig Anderson for a few games, all of which were losses. Lehtonen ended up with 24 saves out of 27 shots winning his 5th game of the season.
The Predators continued to play rough hockey like they did all season and combined with fine penalty killing and finally some offense, they were able to control the Lightning all game long. :handclap: Next game away against the division rivals Chicago Blackhawks.
