The Ducks have had a front row seat to his play this year. If the they like what they see they may be interested in trading a late pick. A fifth may be realistic if the Ducks want more leadership in the room and some proven experience for playoff insurance.

He's not even playing on the Leafs AHL team. He's not signed next season.

The Leafs don't need another team to do them a favour here. If you want him sure give a late pick. If not who cares let him finish out his contract and try and find a team next season.
