On to the next one. This game will be tough but the schedule for the rest of the season gets much easier and hardly any travel. Expecting a strong finish to the season and to rev it up for playoffs with some confidence.

Matthews or no Matthews :crossfing - the boys should bring their best especially with the way the Tampa game unfolded in the third.

Andersen likely gets the start, it'll be some kinda duel going up against Rinne.

I sure hope so. The phrase "statement game" is overused but might be appropriate here.

Exactly. From one potential cup finalist to the next these are great games for our young guys to be a part of.

Play the same way we did in the first two periods against Tampa, and use the learning experience from the 3rd period in the game tomorrow.

From the 2nd best team to the best in the league. Good test
Would have been nice to win yesterday. We probably win if its a non rusty Andersen. Also wouldnt have to see Hyman on the ice with the goalie pulled;)
Oh well move on and be ready for an even bigger test.

In Feb we had to face Nashville and Tampa within 6 days. Won both games back then but they were close. 4-3 win against Tampa and 3-2 (SO) win against Nashville.

Just lost a close game in Tampa and I'm thinking it's another close game against Nashville. Just hope we play the entire game.

Chances of matthews? sure hope so!
Laine, bergeron and matthews all injured in my fantasy!

Exactly my situation as well. I went from 1st place to 3rd place and might drop even further. I also have Joe Thornton in my pool who's been out for a long freakin time. Should have been cruising to a 1st place victory, now not even sure I'll finish 3rd...sheesh

If they lose to Tampa and Nashville, 2 of the best teams in the league, over the course of 72 hours, this place is going to be unbearable lol

Nashville's 14-0-1 in their last 15 games

Not expecting a win at all here  I hope we do though.

Our schedule after this is pretty soft. The boys should be pretty motivated based on how they crapped the bed yesterday. The first two periods were such a tease of their true potential.

Matthews is back with Hyman and Nylander, while Zaitsev is back with Gardiner.

Looks like both will be back tomorrow night

Johnsson staying with the team on a line with Plekanec and Kapanen. Leivo draws out with Matthews in.

Carrick out with Zaitsev returning

2004? Though a lot of this team missed time due to injuries, and Leetch/Francis were deadline pick ups

Roberts - Sundin - Mogilny
Tucker - Francis - Nolan
Ponikarovsky - Nieuwendyk - Antropov
Renberg - Reichel - Domi
Kilger, Fitzgerald, Belak, Stajan

Leetch - McCabe
Kaberle - Johansson
Berg - Marchment
Klee, Berehowsky,

Wow, pretty stacked lineup minus Pokahovsky and AntroGOD!

Always got a laugh when Don Cherry would mess up Poni's name. Also remember the fan base calling Antropov, AntroGOD one year he was dominant lol.

Man, how far we've come.
