You actually need speed for that move to work, the idea is to catch the goalie going the other way....frigging JVR, maybe he should ask the NHL if someone can shoot it from the point and he stands in front of the goalie during the shootout

f*** Polak though. Also Babcock needs to get his head checked for a concussion. His coaching could end up costing us playoff games.

I hate the shootout. What a crappy way to end a fun game. I'll NEVER be a supporter of it. I don't care if the Leafs win or lose it, I hate it and it shouldn't be in hockey, period.

Leafs were good in the first and third period, but once again, gave up over 40 shots on net.

The right team won tonight, easily.

Oh and Plekanec looked like shit.

Honestly. I’ll take it. We showed we can hang with Tampa even without our best forward (and he’s our best forward by a fair margin).

13-2-1 last 16 games. Can’t win em all but this team has made us think we can lately.

Leafs can hang with them. But too much running around in their own zone.

Vasy made some nice saves but he was pretty darn lucky tonight. I can think of 4 posts off the top of my head.

Plekanec was OK. Polak was hideous.

A bit better of a third but a bit of a sloppy game. Then again they had their chances that they missed on taking the lead.

Entertaining game, with some weird bounce, great goaltending.

Pleks was ok. Needs time to adjust to the system and line mates.

Polak also sucks, but that's not new.
