Only way you'll get Muzzin is probably by having to take Brown or Gaborik.

Fair enough and I would then prefer Gaborik over brown.
Muzzin would solidify the top pairing and Gaborik could give us serviceable minutes before he slips on a banana peel and gets a ticket to Robidas island.

I like this roster...So basically Gaborik and Muzzin for JVR and Bozak? Seems like a decent trade for both teams. Seems more realistic than all the other projected rosters because they pretty much have to upgrade their top 4 D and its really only possible through trade and eating a bad contract would be part of the deal.

I can 99% say LA doesn't even look at a trade for Muzzin + Gaborik for Bozak + JVR. Muzzin's #1D, a low-end one at that.

XXX is either a UFA signing like Kulikov, Alzner, or Shattenkirk, or a trade via JVR + Marincin + maybe a prospect. Keep Bozak to maintain some scoring depth in the top 9, with Nylander playing centre if an injury occurs. Sell Komarov off for picks.

Hard to say how things go, but with Bozak, JVR, and Komarov as pending UFAs going into next season, I think it's important to get value back for at minimum 1, if not 2 of these guys.

I think that upgrade to the blueline is going to be the biggest thing we could do this off-season. We could really use another legit top 4 guy.

I thought the general consensus after this year is that Andersen is a solid goalie that just needs to play a few less games and get a better D in front of him.

Top 6:

Although I want Marner and Kapanen switch to see what Matthews and Marner can do I think they'll put Nylander in between the chemistry JVR and Marner have to ease him into playing center at this level it's the best way to shelter him. Matthews will hopefully get some play making help from Kapanen as he learns to be a pro. I prefer Brown over Hyman with Matthews because he has much better speed and finishing ability.

Bottom 6:

Hyman Kadri Sosh is a good shutdown line that are gritty and quick. The bottom line could be Goat or Boyle at center, I think they'll try and resign him but if not they're ok moving forward. Would like Gauthier to get a full time gig as he looked good in his window earlier. I know people have said Komarov at 4C but I just don't see that happening.

D-Core:

Clearly Zaitsev and Gardiner are a better pairing than Rielly with either. If we can grab a top 4 RHD to compliment Rielly we should have a pretty good group of Defenders.
