Talking about the lockout
fill us in, fill us in!!
since my speakers died a couple of days ago, please do tell us what he's saying
They were just talking about why Lou Lamoriello might be there at the meetings.
Now they are talking about the Coaches meeting, and potential rule changes.
No real new info.
I need a nap after listening to that for 5 minutes.
I don't have speakers, but when it comes to interviews, Fergie answers questions like a politician......
JFJ agreed with the host of the show that the reason the meetings could have been moved from TO to NYC is that Goodenow and Bettman would have to be present to sign the deal.
Yeah, JFJ is ******* boring.
If you're waiting for any information from JFJ, forget it.
He is a master of saying things that mean absolutely nothing.
You could hear whoever was giving the interview going uh-huh like he wasn't even listening. Hopefully if he nods off he doesn't fall forward and bang his head on the desk.
The host is Arthur Griffiths, former owner of the Vancouver Canucks (up to 1996). This show is on every weekday at this time (and is only on the CBA), and he usually has people from both sides as guests, he has some agent on yesterday....
He is Ken Dryden.
How long is the show?
Without the large vocabulary.
1 hour, from 10am PST (or 1pm EST). If there is no WHL Giants game in the evening, they will replay the show at 6pm PST (or 9pm EST), Mon-Fri - tomorrow's guest will be Larry Brooks from NY.
