I love the Laine goals as much as anybody, but it's a bad sign when he's the only one doing the scoring. The team didn't have to rely on him in the past. Doesn't fare well for the playoffs if the team continues to perform like this.

Meh, we were down Scheif, Lowry, Enstrom, Trouba, Kulikov, and we still had a very realistic shot at winning the game.

They were playing a team that was very thin and in the midst of a long road trip. I wouldn't read too much into this from their perspective.

He had an awful game, has had an underwhelming year on a contract that in hindsight is a pretty big detriment to the team.
