My dad is 62.. isnt Dionne like 59 or something? My dad left me and my mom for a couple years to live in LA in 1970 or something when I was only 8 because his job was much better in LA. So he went to a lot of LA games so he really knows Dionne much more then me and was a lot older and mature when Dionne was at his prime. I admit he's a better hockey guy then me.

That makes perfect sense, given that Dionne was never seen outside of LA during the seventies. Thank heavens your dad went out there to see him so he could report what kind of player he was to the rest of the world.....

and then...

I'm 42 I was born in December 1962. My dad was born in 1940. He started smoking at around 1969 at the age of 29 or something. So I was like 9-10-11-12-13 when Orr was at his prime and 14-15-16-17-18-19-20 when Guy was at his prime and obviously Gretz and Lemieux later. I saw Boom Boom and Howe play but I dont remember all that well and they obviously werent in their primes.

Your Dad is one of the youngest people born in 1940 if he's only 62. Marcel Dionne was born in 1951, why he's only nine years older than you!!! I'm suprised you wouldn't know Dionne's age, since it's the same as Lafleur's and you followed the Flower so closely throughout his career.....

Did the Red Wings play a lot in LA??? Cause in 1970, Dionne wasn't a member of the LA Kings, he wasn't yet out of junior, followed by those early years in Detroit. In 1975-1976 he went to LA, at which time you would have been turning 13. But hey, who doesn't confuse events that occurred when they were 13 versus when they were 8???

Does this board have a post of the year award? Good point Bucky. I`m kicking myself for not noticing that one myself first.

Still, it`s hard to believe K10 would be confused about something. Everything else he`s posted has been so true, accurate and error-free.

Thanks for the recognition, reckoning. I'm ordering in a few " I got owned by Bring Back Bucky" t-shirts for deserving posters. ;)

he used the words "a couple" and "or something".

you guys take things literally and miss the big picture. Like whooping it up versus being a man....

Sorry you were offended by my whooping it up.... Please accept one of my "Property of Bring Back Bucky" temporary tattoos as an olive branch. Just press, add water and wear with pride. ;)

I'm watching Lafleur in the Viagra MTL Legends vs Legend of Hockey game right now on TSN, he still looks pretty good, highlight reel goal with Savard. And Stephane Richer is tearing it up! Give this man an NHL contract, har har.

Nothing quite like Viagara to help Guy get UP for the big game.
