Looked like Skinner was going after a King after the goal lol

need a lip reader to tell me what skinner was ranting bout

I was hoping for a different angle to see who he was barking at, definitely looked like some good ol' shittalking.

You're all right. I'm not going to complain. We're scoring goals and winning games, and I'm just going to be happy. But I still think BP is pretty hard-headed, and I don't think our scoring woes are 100% dead and buried.

Let us record this moment in history.

So the shootout lineup should be pretty clear from this point on, yeah? What with Slavin burying yet another backhand, and Aho getting another breakaway goal 5-hole.

And those two are the most likely to be on the team long-term, so we win every shootout for the foreseeable future.

Great win. 5-3 and I was sure that the Kings would soon finalize the comeback. Glad to be wrong. No hats for Faulk hatty made me LOL. He must have felt so appreciated at that moment

i had no idea that was his third goal. i was sitting right by the first one and it looked for sure like teuvo tipped it. forgot they announced it as faulk, so when he got his third and people threw hats i was caught completely off-guard lol

It was confusing though. When it was scored, they announced it as Faulk's goal. During intermission, they said there was a scoring change, and they said it was Teravainen's goal. So when Faulk scored the next one, a bunch of people in the crowd (everyone around me) thought it was only his 2nd.

We seem to say it a lot....but these next two games are legit season breaking.

I say start Darling on the road vs NJ and pray. Darling vs the Islanders could get ugly quick.

I'd push it out one more and say the next 3 games.

Two in a row against Jersey at this stage is absolutely crucial. They need to come away from these 3 games with an absolute minimum of 4 points, you can't be a .500 team in games like this.

Darling on the road in a huge game is a risky proposition. Play him against the Isles who we can get into a track meet and score with if we need to. They have routinely been giving up 40+ shots per game and 3+ goals. Cam has played many big games in NJ and gives us a better chance at winning the type of game that will likely be played (more opportunistic, low scoring).

Yeah, John and Tripp were confused as well. Announced as Faulk, corrected to TT during intermission, then right after intermission they reversed it back to Faulk (probably asked TT as he left the room if he touched it). I'm pretty sure after the 3rd goal one of them said "uhoh the fans thought it was a hat trick" then there was an awkward pause and they carried on talking about it being his 3rd.

Darling anywhere is risky lol. I see what youre saying though. Either way we can't expect our goalies to win these games anyways...we are going to have to score 7-8 goals between these two games. Hopefully this offensive burst gives us some momentum

It’s almost like you want to share time at a beachfront property.

I bet you could make a sound real estate investment that would make this dream come true!

Dear god that would be genious! You could own the place and live there for the best two weeks in the year without having to worry about it the year around, and if you at some point wanted to sell it a deal like that would move like hot cakes!

We could be counting the days to an epic Darling-Lack matchup in goal. I'm not even sure where to go with this, other than Play It Again Sports to buy goalie pads for my son, who surely has a shot to make the NHL.

as crucial as each game feels at this point, you have to give darling a vote of confidence start at some point during these metro games or you lose him the rest of the season in terms of attempting to maintain the illusion of a 1A/1B situation. darling has a history of playing and winning big games even if the sample this season has been puke. the alternative is doing to ward what we've done to ward every single season of his career to tragic results. this upcoming game against the devils would be ideal because for one, the offensive confidence for our guys is through the roof and hopefully at least a little of that translates and secondly, ward didn't have a lights out night against the kings so the expectations for darling against the debs shouldn't be a consideration for him. there are points where you have to rely upon your backup to play like he belongs here. we sure as shit can't afford to take that gamble against the islanders with as explosive as they've been offensively. the last thing we want is a track meet there.
