:help:

I took over a team in a 4 sport league, but got one of the last picks when it game to taking which team I wanted in Hockey... So I'm stuck with the roster below:

G Tuuka Rask 6
RW Phil Kessel 9
C/LW Herik Zetterberg 26
LW/RW James Neal 27
G Niklas Backstrom 65
C David Krejci 67
D Zdeno Chara 71
RW/D Dustin Byfuglien 73
D Justin Schultz 79
D Andrei Markov 95
G James Reimer 111
C Kyle Turris 139
D Lubomir Visnovsky 157
C/LW Jordan Staal 161
LW/RW Brandon Saad 169
D Fedor Tyutin 173
C/LW Marcus Johansson 190
C/RW Gustav Nyquist 272
C/LW Antoine Vermette 315
C/LW Alex Killorn 359
G Chad Johnson 391

G Jake Allen - amateur player

The number next to their name was their "Y rank" last year. It just copied over from the chart.

We can keep 8 players on our team, plus our amateur can either be rostered (kept), kept as an amateur, or dropped and another one can be drafted.

I haven't done fantasy hockey in quite a while, so I'm a little rusty. I know the game well, and I know who plays well, but I don't quite remember the fantasy strategy etc.

Can anyone shed some light on who I should keep? It would be much appreciated!

Not a bad team to be stuck with, without seeing the other teams. Top goalie, top scorer, versatile D man(RW and D). Tough choice to leave Turris and Nyquist off, could include one of them instead of Saad, but I think he's going to light it up with Kane.

G Tuuka Rask 6
RW Phil Kessel 9
C/LW Herik Zetterberg 26
LW/RW James Neal 27
G Niklas Backstrom 65
C David Krejci 67
RW/D Dustin Byfuglien 73
LW/RW Brandon Saad 169

Without seeing the other amateurs available, Allen is a good keep for that. Could get 30+ starts for the Blues who are going to win a lot of games, and Elliot isn't that great for a #1. If there are top scorers available for an amateur spot, I would ditch Allen for one of them (Kuznetsov, Teravainen, Drouin, etc)

I got clarification, I can ROSTER Allen as my "9th" keeper, which means he'll essentially be my last round pick, and then draft a new Am. So that's how I'll handle him. He's better than anyone I'd get in the final round of the draft IMO.
