Anyone on here that follows the Kazakh league? I usually check in on Nomad and Torpedo as one is affiliated with Barys and the other is a traditional hockey city. Did the Saryarka have a big roster change, or what happened there? They seem much weaker in comparison to last season.
Also try to keep an eye on Humo as they could be an interesting project. Back then was the KHL the goal but they seem to have found a home in Kazakhstan and seems to be dominating the league this early in the season. Their squad is quite physically big and have some decent KHL experienced players. Unfortunately they basically only have Russian players. Any Uzbek talent coming up at this level in the coming years?
