It wasn't Kazakh fans (I don't think there are any on these boards), it was Latvian fans speculating about the Kazakh team. And it was based on an assumption that if he was good he wouldn't be playing in the Kazakh championship. But that's not necessarily true when it comes to 22 y.o. a championship-winning goalie who posts monster numbers and plays for a team that is usually a VHL contender.
