Kapanen is dragging down Bozak and JVR right now.

Also he tried to dance around Marchand and got burned. He can't pull stuff like that in his own end!

Smarten up!

this is what having elite speed can do for you, his hands and shot still needs work, but hes only 21 and is already a dangerous player with that speed alone

"dangerous" is a really poor description.

0 goals, 0 assists, 0 points -1 in 6 games.

Most playoff teams would be happy to play against a team full of Casper Kapanenszzzzz.

Seriously? What is the appeal here? If there were anyone on the Marlies or if Leivo were better they would be playing in KaP's place by now.

His skating is scaring the Bruins. They are on their heels when he is on the ice. He is the reason Bruins cant get good PP momentum, they have him on a breakaway in the back of their heads.

If this is remotely true, then we should have kept Grabner and put a 'C' on his jersey.

He had many chances/breakaways, but no one remembers he was a leaf.

Kapanen had one bonehead play, otherwise he's been pretty solid defensively and has been snakebit. He's hit so many posts this series, those are eventually gonna go in for him.

When is Kapanen gonna score a damn goal? He get's the most clear cut chances of any leaf and can't bury one. It just boggles the mind how many missed opportunities he's had.

Kapanen has been awful.

Constantly squandering odd-man rushes, terrible on the PK, generally loses the puck too easily. Outside of his speed, he has shown nothing.

He needs to step his game up

I can see Kapanen becoming a Marleau type of player if he continues to develop well and is given top 6 minutes. He has the tools, doesn't mind playing physical, is useful on the PK/defensively, and will get plenty of opportunities due to his speed.

If everything works out he could be a consistent 30-30 guy in my opinion. I know he is snake bitten right now, but he has some good talent to go with a good motor. Once he gets more offensive opportunities (next year), he'll put up much better numbers. Not sure he'll actually become a 30-30 guy, but he does have the skillset to do so.

I like this kid, or young man, as everyone knows, fast, just can't finish (no pun) AHL number are enough to get him a look, if he sticks to Babs mantra, work hard live right good things will happen, he'll get there. He's from Finland most feisty of the Nordic countries (Leo), if he can get a bit of that on the ice he'll be ok. I don't see him as an elite goal scorer, maybe 20 goal guy, more grinder and PK specialist. Time will tell. I'm rootin for him.

He had the potential game winner with it being a shorty to boot. Great player.

He has never gotten a chance to play on a decent line. Bozak and JVR are our worst 5 on 5 players.
Next year he will hopefully get a chance to play with some skill and he will grow his confidence.

Legendary would be game winner if not for some sad third period antics. He's a keeper and already an upgrade on JVR.

He'll be a keeper if he can learn how to pass the puck as half as good as Matt Martin.

I love how leaf fans somehow credit him for the game winning goal tonight.

What kind of bizarre slant are you taking tonight?

Boston is on the the next round, and not Toronto!
