What a great game by Naz on his return. I hope he gets to stick around to experience the great years that lie ahead. Such a huge part of this team and he has played his heart out for us over the years. Truly a great Maple Leaf of all time.

With such a soft team, we need Naz and he delivered. I also think he's a big part of this team.

i dont know what you posted but i was 100% against that hit and thought he got what he deserved(well 1 game more than what he deserved)
i thought it was selfish and stupid, not some valiant act of sticking up for teammates.

and i consider myself a HUGE leafs fan, but if you read my post history im also pretty level headed(at least i think so)

You're making it sound like his intent was to paralyze Wingles, I think his intent was to get revenge. Some people have anger control issues and can let their emotions blind them. I had a buddy in High School that would black out when he got in fights, he couldn't remember any of the fight, common sense and rationale thought went out the window. Some people don't have good impulse control, I think Kadri is one of them when he gets upset. Not defending Kadri but at the same time I don't think his intent was to paralyze the man.

Absolutely his intent was absolutely no doubt to inflict harm, that is your (my) intent a lot of the time when its a clean hit too. . If I'm hitting you, I'm hitting with the intent to drive you through the boards and a few rows back in the stands.

That was a really dumb penalty Kadri took. But then he draws a penalty in the third period and that's Kadri, sometimes you want to give his head a good shake and at other times you thank the lord he's a Maple Leaf. He does really dumb things sometimes that annoy the hell out of you but in the cold light of day, you look at the numbers and see that he has the best penalty differential on the team (at least I think he does pretty much every year) and everything else he brings to the team and there's no question he's a net positive so what can you do? You suck it up, you calm down and understand that with a guy like that you have no choice but to take the good with the bad and as long as the good outweighs the bad, it's all good.

The ups and downs with Kadri the last couple of weeks have been crazy. I hope he scores the winner tomorrow night and then shines against TB, then we can stop complaining about him for a while.
