Julien is no different from the majority of coaches in this league, including "geniuses" like Babcock or Boucher, or, hmm, not so geniuses like Therrien. Give him a good, healthy lineup and he'll generally get good results. Give him a poor, unfit lineup and the results will likely be bad.

So yes, obviously, the quality of the lineup necessarily needs to improve for the Habs to get better results. More shocking news at 11.

His system blows for young teams, young small teams. This is why he was canned last time he was here, young players just don't give it an effort for him, his style is best suited for older teams that play a grinding, physical.. simple game. I never liked him much first time around.

As previously stated, we already improved our defensemen with Schlemko, Alzner, Morrow and Streit over what we previously had, not to mention Hemsky which improved our forward group, what else can you ask for for next season?

Montréal is the further away a team can be from being a meritocracy. I mean Drouin has been our first line center for 90% of this year. Never missed a shift on the PP.

I really don't think "going to the net" is our problem. We have plenty of guys who go to the net in Gallagher and Lehkonen are pitbulls around the crease and Carr, Shaw, D-Lo, DLR also go to messy areas. We need talent, not more net drive.
