How good is this kid projected to be? I've only seen a few of his games but he seems to be ready to be a #1 goalie in the league.

He is projected to be the Wild future goalie, but he looks like he is ready now. I think Fernandez is dealt in the offseason and the Wild will go with Backstrom and Harding.

He's got some work to do making the adjustment, but the tools are there. If they trade Manny and sign Backstrom this summer, like a lot of us Wild fans are hoping for, Josh'll get about 20 games next season, and then we'll have a much better idea of what we've got here. But based on what we've seen so far, the tools are there, the attitude is there, and he has a very bright future. Worst case? Solid starting goaltender. Best case? Franchise goalie. Most likely? A top-end goalie, maybe one of the Top 10 in the league.

Kid is great. I mean he has had to deal with some bad teams...

Kid is Dynamite........has all the tools to be a real special goalie........I think your right Manny gets dealt in the summer and its a battle between Harding and Backstrom........I think at some point Harding will take it over next season though......kind of like the Ryan Miller situation last year.

he looked real good tonight. The Sabres didn't test him too much laterally, but everything coming in from the point stuck to him.

He passed just about every test he got tonight...

i agree with this. and IMO backstrom is better then fernandez, but fernandez will get you a better return in a trade. so for me its a no brainer.

what i like about harding is he's ability to win hockey games on any night. if he's team scores 1 goal it could be enogh to win the game with harding in the net. no matter how many shots he faces.

The real plus of Harding is that he is a real solid individual with a great attitude.

Yup. Any kid who wears a pink hockey helmet to show support for his sister is one hell of an individual in my estimation. The guy's got stones. I'm looking forward to big things from Josh in the years to come.
