I just caught the end of the 3rd, OT, and the shootout of the Minnesota/St. Louis game tonight and noticed Josh Harding is making his NHL debut.

The stats don't look good but he's made some really good saves, especially in OT and made a few nice saves in the shootout.

What does everyone think of this guy? I know he's been great in the AHL for 2 years now, but he really does not seem to get a ton of hype around here.

BTW, Mikko Koivu is great. Another guy who isn't talked about much.

Mikko isn't talked about because he doesn't put up points.

I think Harding is starting to get chattered about. His years in the AHL, and coming back from a nasty, disgusting hit by Taffe really solidifed his place as one of the better goaltenders coming out of the AHL.

Watched parts of the game and thought he looked pretty solid. What's up with those pads though? Ugliest ones I have ever seen.

Josh Harding was incredible for the Regina Pats like 3 years ago. If he can be half as good in the NHL, he has a bright future ahead of him. I maintain that Harding was a superb pickup by the Wild.
