His playing time increased as the tournament went on, which is a pretty good sign. Didn't make any major mistakes, did a pretty good job on the power play point, and in general showed he belonged at this level. The Sharks got themselves a huge bargain with him; whoever decided to give him the training camp tryout last year deserves a raise. I just hope they let him play his overage year in Kelowna next year instead of sending him to the AHL.

I think he did a great job sitting on the bench and not injuring himself when players moved around him to get on the ice.

Amazing how he could lead the defensemen in plus/minus while sitting on the bench. Great job! :shakehead

Continues to impress, despite no press...

or bad press (from idiots who make jokes about the bench). Please check your stats re: plus/minus, powerplay efficiency, turnovers vs minutes played and coaches comments re: Gorges.

A very pleasant surprise, who continues to develop and embarrass the Boo-birds.

Is he going to be a #1 or #2 D-man in the NHL?...No. A good 2nd unit powerplay man and swing-D-man in the NHL at 4th or 5th?...Yes. :teach:

If you watch the videos you will see half his plus ratings were when he just steped on the ice. Duh! And you count these as significant?

Watch the game closer before you embarrass yourself with silly comments!
