    Today or tonight the NHL is expecting to give the players association another proposal regarding what should be in their view the collective bargaining agreement. Now whether or not the players reject it outright would be the question. I think it's a proposal where you are going to have -- if people can stay with me here -- a hard salary cap, but it would start at the low end and teams would be told they would have to spend [ex-amount of] money and then there would be a gap of say $10-12-14 million dollars and have a hard cap at the top.
