I was a little surprised by his "you can't really say it's on us" comment when talking about the loss to the Wings...

Kind of feel that the Jets talent often means some of their success is random.
They work hard which is great but sometimes it just takes a tiny bit of luck.
If Laine or Ehlers score early in a game you mainly see a positive boost to the rest of the game. Confidence is what controls how they play and for most players it's fragile to a degree.

Keys to the game:

Don't give the Panthers two 5-on-3's.
Don't make a turnover which leads directly to an odd-man rush against.
Don't help another player run into your goalie then have the puck deflect directly off said player and yourself into the net.

They do(n't) these things and the game is as good as theirs.

Seriously though, hoping for a good bounce back game. Forget all about Detroit and just come out with a jump in their step. Gotta tighten up in front of Comrie's season debut.

Cool. I would have liked to have seen the Jets warming up today. I went for morning skate this morning at the BB&T. I found an open door, but Security soon 'greeted' me and kindly escorted me out. Oh well. I'll be there with the family tonight.
