The question isn't whether Wheeler is a good player or captain. Certainly is. That's no reason to play him in 1st though. Good of the team should be the reason for line combinations. Not some status thing of Wheelers

The question is how to make the lines optimal in production offensively and defensively. And the answer is Wheeler with Little and Laine with Chef.

I know you love to hold onto things, but do you really believe a mid November game in 2016 has any bearing on tonight? Did their performance in Nashville on Tuesday remind you of that injury plagued outfit of 13 months ago? It is okay to release the demons of the past. They are gone to the dust bin of history. While we won't win every game, and some nights we will be off, I think we can now trust that we have morphed into a contender. The last thing this team is worried about is what happened on November 19, 2016.
