JF Berube is coming back up? or are they going to play Crow?

Some people forget Berube was brought in to protect Forsberg not Glass but he got hurt.

Yeah I think the assumption is that Berube is coming up. Hopefully he plays like he played in training camp. :)

It'll be Berube. But honestly why not just keep Glass up. We're not making the playoffs, might as well put in a goalie that'll help us in the draft.

Say what you will but it was nice story to see guy make it to NHL at age 32 and get a few wins (3 exactly) given his journey thru organizations/leagues

Since 02-03 he has played for
Kootenay Ice (WHL) = 02-05
Charlotte Checkers (AHL) = 05
Binghamton Senators (AHL)= 06-09
Astana Barys (KHL) = 09-12
Novosibirsk Sibir (KHL) = 12-13
Moscow Spartak (KHL) = 13-14
CSKA Moscow (KHL) = 13-14
Tolyatti Lada (KHL) = 14-15
Minsk Dynamo (KHL) = 15-16
Toronto Marlies (AHL) = 2016
Rockford Ice Hogs (AHL) = 2016-Now
Chicago Blackhawks (NHL)

Seems Hawks aren't sold on Forsberg. Now it's Berube's chance to give them more to think about. He was decent before getting injured.

Forsberg needs work for sure but for him it seems a small positional tweak (3-4 inches) and work on focus is what he needs. Physical tools are there (minus puck play which is an easy fix).

Consistent playing time will help.

I said after the game last night that Glass and Gus had played their last games for the Blackhawks and most likely in the NHL

I'm pretty sure I'll be accurate on both counts.

He was responsible for multiple losses for this team at a critical time. Nice story but let him be some other team's nice story.

Glass did surprisingly well for a surprisingly long time for a guy that can't catch a puck. His weakness is just too exploitable.

Agree that Gus doesn't belong, but unless Rutta is ready, who do you go to? Forsling is apparently on the 3rd pairing in Rockford. Maybe Pokka gets his look?

Poor fellow. Who knew he sank Quenneville's stick-checking (sorry, "active stick"), defensively dumpster fire, offensively impotent, disastrous specialteam-wise, no net front presence, perimeter hockey team's PO streak.

It was a good story, and there were a handful of games where the team really did hang him out to dry, but he also had more than his fair share of softies even taking that into account. Best of luck to him back down in Rockford.

Doesn't really matter. Season is over.

If a guy is going to be part of the future - or at least next season - the play him now. That goes for Hino, Hayden, Forsling, whomever.

But for gods sake play them the right way ala not putting Oesterle on the first D pairing for 25 minutes a game

Dude is going on 33 and this was his only shot at playing in the NHL. His NHL
career is over. Best to hang up the pads and move on to the next career.

Maybe selling cars at his Uncle Morty's used car lot in Calgary? Or perhaps hanging drywall with his buddy Lou? Just no Carter that involves wearing a glove on his left hand. He does not do well why gloves.
