Good heads up, nevesis!

Been asking for this for awhile, just to see what he can do.

His old scouting reports mention speed, skill, soft hands and board battler. Totally worth a shot on 4th line or maybe 3rd in a pinch. Let's see how he works out...

Megna has decent size and skates very well and he can kill penalties. His numbers aren't great but hardly anyone on the Wolfpack has good numbers. He leads Hartford in shots on goal with 110 which is over 20 ahead of the next guy--so he gets shots on net.

Personally I don't have a problem with bringing him up at all.

Etem shouldnt play anyways. He played a part in all 3 goals.

Maybe a trade is coming. Maybe Etem to CBJ for Rychel.

If AV isn't going to consistently play Etem, they should just trade him. Give him to a team that will consistently use him somewhere.

Acting as if we are missing out on something if we dont play Etem. He has been a disappointment. This is the NHL, when you finally get called upon you better make it count. The guy has ZERO goals for all that "skill" people rave about. Zero. He follows up a decent performance against TBL, at least forechecking wise, with an absolutely atrocious one against Florida. Stop making excuses for the guy. We replaced Hagelin with a guy who cant kill penalties, is weak in his own end, has shown even less offense than Hagelin has, and cant stay in the lineup. The talk at the time of the trade was well yea we lost a lot from Hagelin but Etem is still quick, with a bigger frame, will go to the dirty areas, and has skill. We have hardly seen any of that.

He should play over Etem.

Good shot, good hustle and can skate.

He works hard, and doesn't make mistakes. Not a lot of risk in his game nor offensive upside.

He's also a very good backdoor option on the PP.

Not afraid to shoot. He's not a accurate or hard enough shooter to beat goalies clean, but at least it can create a rebound or 2nd chance opportunity.

I liked him in the Pre-Season over Etem and Glass.

Truth. Absolutely agree, but you should back that up with an excel pivot to legitimize your argument.

Absolutely correct. Not much cracks me up this year more than the #freeEtem thing. Guy is straight garbage.

I suspect that Etem doesn't have any trade value. He's played 131 games in the NHL and has never put it together. Wouldn't be surprised if they tried to sneak Etem through waivers if Megna looks good filing in for Kreider.

Black vs White Pens exhibition game in 2013. Went to a shootout, Coach asks Tanner if he's ever shot. Tanner says no. Coach calls Megna out to take the penalty shot. Megna shows he has good hands. Kreider or Etem couldn't do this.
