Actually I haven't minded him in the Toronto series. I had to laugh when he said "Wolls skate blade comes off...right when Boston was pressuring in Torontos offensive zone" he said it as if Woll broke his blade off intentionally. But he stopped and didn't continue with what seemed like an unfinished thought... i think he wisely caught himself.

This is the easily-forgotten context of Edwards’ rants regarding the Habs. The Habs had a run of years in the late 00s and early 10s where they became well known for diving, with guys like Ribeiro and Subban pulling some all-time ridiculous stunts. That time period also happened to coincide with a run of Montreal/Boston playoff series, including three 7-game series, where Montreal owned the Bruins and then the script flipped to Bruins dominance. Some of Edwards’ most unhinged moments came at the climax of that rivalry, when the Bruins were finally taking it to the Habs after years of frustration.

The thing that's going to be telling is when, at some point, it comes out what's wrong with Edwards. [I offered thoughts on this in an earlier thread on Edwards.]

A handful of people who've been critical of Edwards in this thread will have some contrition. Way too many of them, however, are going to take the opportunity to take yet another dump on him and be completely unrepentant about it. Not because he physically harmed them or defamed them, or otherwise did things to make their lives a living hell and such, but because ... he ... hurt their feelings at some point.

I tend to think Jack Edward’s twisted an entire generation of bruins fans brains with his ridiculous takes.

Talking to many bruins fans just feels exactly like speaking directly to Jack Edward’s. I didn’t realize how these thoughts got into their heads until I heard Edward’s saying almost the exact same things night after night

Listening to this goober has twisted the minds of thousands and thousands of bruins fans

And I have to put up with it on here incessantly.

He’s brainwashed the entire fanbase.

Easy now - there's a big difference between posting something that doesn't come to pass and outright lying. I think Fenway deserves the benefit of the doubt. And if you are going to accuse him of lying then you should post some these " blatant lies " from your list.
