Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking this. I expected Hamill to be a contender for a top 5-10 spot for sure and for Sexsmith to be a lock for the first round. Sexsmith may prove to be that still but it's looking less and less likely, although this is a rather weak draft as far as goalies go from all indications.

I wouldn't worry about Hamil. After the WJ his stock will again rise after him and Toews tie for the scoring title.

Here's what we think of Biega, who was drafted by Gatineau in the 11th round of the Q draft this past summer as a 17-year-old.

He's a highly skilled forward with lots of weapons. Blends finesse and power. Soft hands, quick shot and good vision. Hard worker with good attitude. Responsible defensively and a strong skater but he needs to work on first couple strides.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind Katic's drop from #5 to #15? His numbers aren't staggering this year, but is there something specific that caused him to drop so far?
