Dont think already, that it will kick out soccer from 1th place. But that it will have its leagues worldwide and can be a millions people beloved sport art.

It's certainly possible and things develop and evolve. Got a feeling that there will be sports "invented" but I think they won't be team sports, instead individual like tennis or with technology and a crew like auto racing.

You say ignore esport but esports basically answered your question. Is there room in the world for a new sport? Yes, esports showed us this with multiple different games. There's always going to be enough room if it's popular enough.

If people like it, then yes there's plenty of room.

Yes, it's obvious from the outset that you don't like it. But it still proves the point that it's possible to roll out a new thing and have it be a big success if it's entertaining to enough people.
