Is that ever happens before ? (Carey Price)

If Carey Price and the Bulldogs continue playing the way they are, they may very well win the Calder Cup (they are now in final against Hersey, Washington club farm). My question is, would it be the first time that someone won both of WJC gold medal and the Calder Cup the SAME year ?

And there is no out in my mind that if the Bulldogs win the Calder, Price is going to get the MVP trophy (kind of AHL version of Conn Smyth). So has anyone already won WJC MVP (+ goaltender of the tournament) AND AHL Playoff MVP the SAME year ?

Even if the Bulldogs do not win, this is very impressing to say the least. This guy is good. This guy is scary good.

Good call, that was the gold medal year.

Carter was named to the all-tournament team but not MVP like Price was.
