You must not have read the whole thread. I saw multiple people saying things like "Kronwall just can't handle the minutes as well" or "he needs a better linemate to take pressure off of him" when the other day the same people were all saying "he's a stud number one" or "he's a top 15 defenseman in the NHL"

A lot of people would suck with Ericsson as their partner on the top pair.

That's ridiculous... I can't believe we actually pay Quincey or Ericsson, for how utterly useless they are in the offensive zone I can not believe they both don't have about double the blocked shots they did this year.

I agree with this and I give kudos to Kronwall for not sucking despite being played with Ericsson (and I did like how he played with Smith as a partner in last years playoffs), my problem with Kronwall isn't that I don't think he's serviceable though, I think he can be played as a first line guy. I just don't think we're going to win a cup with him as our first line guy. If our defense had a 1A/1B/3 scenario however that's a whole different story.
