Pretty clear from the poll, most people see him as a 2C

The problem with these threads, ("Is _____ a 1C/1D/Generational/etc.") is that people are trying to answer the question without a clear definition of what these terms mean. We are measuring these players using our own personal yardsticks, which makes this a pointless exercise. Has there been a thread to reach a consensus on what a 1C is?

Kadri has long been regarded as a 2C, with some even going as far to say he is nothing more than a 3C.
Nazem has not only stepped his game up defensively, but he has been an offensive force.

since the start of last season

38 goals - 3rd among C (trailing only Crosby/Matthews)
72 points - T-13th among C
268 shots - 9th among C
101 PIM - 2nd among C

is Naz one of the top 30 centers in the league?

No...

Kadri with 9g/15pts in 18 games thus far.

Looks like last season wasn't a fluke.

Interesting to note that since last year Naz now has 41g (3rd among C behind Matthews/Crosby) and 75pts (16th among C)

these 3 #1C all make 8+ million

Kopitar: 20g/72pts in 92 games
Johansen: 14g/68pts in 97 games
Toews: 25g/68pts in 88 games

Kadri is not only easily one of the top 31 C in the league, he would be the #1C on 10-15 of them

how the f*** did this go 8 pages and I thought my posts on page 5 were already too much

again for me he's a 22-28 C in the league, some people disagree with this but whatever. That's a #1 if the definition of 1c is top 31. If we go by the other definition then there's less than 20 #1s
