Is James Sheppard underrated?

He has been steadily improving in the Q this year and has taken on a few more responsibilities. Some people question why Minnesota picked him but man he has looked good.

He is pretty darn good.

I thought he'd fall enough to atleast the Leafs. But there is also a thing called scouting, and Minny did just that.

I don't think he's underrated, per se. But, he does seem to fly under the radar of most people. Those who have watched him a few times seem to see what he's worth.

The guy does it all for his team! He reminds me of Doug Gilmour when he was with the Leafs.

seems like players who get off to a hot start get more hype...and he started cold due to back problems.....considering where he was drafted and how hot he's been...he sure doesnet get much discussion... im not sure if people under rate him...but lack of interest for some reason... maybe some like the flashier players..some like players on higher profile teams?

I think he might be a little underrated, he's not talked about too much. I like this kid alot.
