Fav Wild moment/how I became a fan: Been a Gopher hockey fan since birth. Once we got a pro team it was easy to be a fan.... As far as my favorite Wild moment, it's gotta our 2 OT game winners in the playoffs against the Avs. Bruno in '03 and Nino in '14

Contacted Carly through Twitter and told her the story and how I had planned to propose, She has a daughter from a previous guy much like the situation I walked into with my wife. Jason is obviously a great hockey player but an even better person, he stepped up to the plate to be a father to her daughter. This connection kind of really made things click, we planned for months that my wife's son (who at this point had already become mine) was going to get the ring from Jason and take it to her after we had got the opportunity to meet them.. she wasn't going to know it was a planned thing.. Unfortunately it didn't work out to that because around that time his Wild Caravan was going up to NW MN instead. So I did it at a local outdoor rink, and we video chatted with them after. Was pretty cool!

How I became a fan: I have always liked Minnesota/North Dakota since watching Fargo when I was a kid but haven't really followed the Wild until a few years ago when Brodin started. I grew up in the same small village of 1000 people as Brodin. We played in the same hockey club (Nor IK) and went to the same school etc, I was in the same year as his sister. I don't know him personally but it's been fun to watch his progress fairly close. When he went from my SHL-team Färjestad to the Wild, I naturally followed him

Aww, you're so welcommy! After so many years of struggling to find a board I can call home, I just clamp in here with my dirty boots and you open your arms like a mommy eagle, spreading her wings to protect her newborns. Thank you!

Edit: I just realised that an eagle protecting her newborn is contradictory to someone opening their arms to welcome someone even though the actual arm movement is similar. I had a few too many beers I guess.
