I don't think anyone's posted this yet, but this appeared in the St. Pete Times today: For NHL, it's time to get out there and sell, sell, sell

It talks about marketing plans and ticket prices in Florida, Nashville, Columbus, Tampa and a few other cities.

Some teams might see the end of the 301-day NHL lockout and the need to start over. And dread it.

Some might see the chance to start over. And can't wait.

Officials in several marketing departments subscribe to the latter, specifically those who think their existing talent, the supposedly leveled economic landscape provided by the new collective-bargaining agreement and their markets' potential make the time ripe for a reset.

As the Nashville marketing guy points out in this article, it's very rare for a team to get to basically reintroduce itself to the community after only a few years in existence, so it's a unique opportunity. One they could have done without, I'm sure, but the teams talked about are trying to make the most of a bad situation. :)
