Damn the Petes are behind Gatineau and they don't even play I the same league......ouch!
At least they are ahead of Mississauga!

Only because some of the best players are still at camp. Once they come back it will be a very different picture.

For Mississauga yes. Is anyone else in th East missing anybody at camps? I don't think so

Missy now may have McLeod out due to injury at devils camp and read today Tippett may make Florida they need scoring and he can do that, thats for sure....without both that changes some things perhaps

Yeah that would turn Mississauga into a bad team right away. For some reason some MISS fans seemed to think they might get Bastian back, but that appears to not be the case. Losing all 3 would wreck that team (as would any team losing their top 3 guys)

North Bay, Barrie and Kingston where picked for lower 3rd of Conference and Missy and Petes top-three and are struggling.
Never really know with Junior Hockey. Kids are changing so much from year to year. Look at the start Burghardt has had on a new team.

Its been a week. North Bay will end up near the bottom and Petes will end up near the top. Missy will too if their team comes back from the NHL

In that week, NB is 3-0-1, with Dineen scoring 4-4 for 8pts. He should play more than 29 games this season making it very unlikely NB finishes near the bottom of the conference.

Dineen is a great player. Brett McKenzie is a great player. Other than that NB is very weak. You think Burghardt is going to lead the league in points all season? He most certainly is not. NB also has the worst goaltending in the entire league. They will be a bottom team in the East barring massive changes to their current roster

MacKenzie has yet to play. Goalies come cheap in the OHL. Verity & McMaster should chip in offensively. Brazeau is no fun to play against. And, the D is quite good over all. I don't see NB being a bottom team; unless, a significant amount of games are lost to injury again

I don't see North Bay finishing ahead of any of Peterborough, Oshawa, Barrie, Hamilton, Kingston or Mississauga if they get back 2/3 of McLeod/Tippett/Bastian. That has them 7th or lower. I think NB will be similar to Niagara in the standings down at 7-9

seems early on anyone can beat anyone any given day makes for a tight race early on i think by christmas things will settle down and the top teams will emerge to the end. east wide open so is west really its a chess match then we'll see who sells and who picks up the big guns for a run to the finals this year is gonna be really interesting as no one is a clear favourite other than perhaps in west OS at present.

Behind A Tree
Should make for an interesting season if this keeps up but I expect some teams to end up distinguishing themselves from the other.

Nearly a month into the season the top two teams in the east are Peterborough and Barrie with Ottawa, Hamilton, Niagara and Kingston not far behind them. North Bay has struggled of late. Oshawa are not playing well and Sudbury and Mississauga are at the bottom.

Only 4 East teams have played 10 games. That's how early it is lol

15% of the season gone already.
London, Guelph, Windsor, Oshawa, & Miss, ((could)) move significantly in the standings; otherwise, teams have pretty much settled into their places.
Niagara is a top six team in the east! :)

How can that be dirty? Wasn't it you that said Niagara didn't do anything in the off season to make this team better. Losing Mantha would make this team significantly worse...

Still early though.

Didn’t see wolves rebuild of rebuild coming or all of Bastian, McLoed, Tippett missing
Ice dogs are doing well
