It's interesting how it seemed like when I was growing up that overpopulation was going to be a major problem.
Now it seems like the overall world population will peak at some point this century and go down afterwards.

Heh, I should clarify that I don't think the population peaking and going down afterwards is necessarily a problem(I expect the population to just settle at a certain point). I also think times where people did try to have lots of kids wasn't necessarily good, since infant mortality was much higher in the past.

But yeah, I agree that it's weird that a lot of people are not interested in reproducing.

Overpopulation is already a major problem. Things are noticeably not-OK in the inhabitable parts of this planet, with lots of reason to believe they will get worse and leave no future possibility of correction.
