This all applies to last night's game against San Diego. I would add that Allard looked pretty good on defense, but the Gulls were leading in shots on goal 29-14 after 2 periods. How does that happen at home?

I think I jinxed Granberg, he was -3 in the game!

Getting outshot seems to be the norm, that Wednesday game a couple weeks ago against Cleveland was the same deal. (26 after 2 pds)

Actually, if you want to see something staggering, look at how many games Lindback has seen over 30 SOG:

It's so bad that it's pretty common for the opponent to have one period of shots on goal that are higher than the Admirals shots on goal through two periods. You just have to wonder how much longer Evason is going to be the coach. Between the complete failure in the playoffs to now not even being able to be within 15 shots of the opponent. Yeah there have been callups and trades and injuries but you can't be this bad.

This was posted when the Admirals were winning 1-0.

The Admirals ended up losing 6-1. I understand giving Saros game action but I'm not sure subjecting him to the abortion that is the Admirals right now is going to do anything positive for him.

Farrance played one game as a left wing for BU.

Was thinking about this recently... with Saros knowing that he's a lock in the NHL and is only down for playing time, any thoughts that he's not going "all out" in his play to avoid any potential injuries? Obviously since Nashville never wants him to play IN Milwaukee, I've yet to see him play this year, but have to wonder, if you know that any random mishap could jeopardize a pretty certain NHL future, why risk getting hurt?

Nashville never wants him to play in Milwaukee? Or the schedules don't line up. It seems like he is always sent down before a scheduled start in Nashville, usually B2B's.

Was tongue-in-cheek, since that's the only part you actually focused on :)

Liking the college numbers for Pitlick, , Fabbro, Mismash and Harper. And despite never really hearing his name discussed at all, it seems like Thomas Novak has some pretty solid numbers too.

Has Fabbro made the team yet? Excited to watch the U20 games again. Who do we have there anyway? Tolvanen at least.

Rosters aren't finalized yet but Fabbro (CAN) and Harper (USA) are there. Fabbro is pretty much guaranteed to make the final roster, Harper likely as well.

The Ads give up an uncontested shot 45 seconds into OT and lose 3-2. I blame Coach Dean Evason. He put the wrong defenseman out there tonight for OT. The first Iowa goal should never have been counted. A Wild player was sitting on Lindback while the puck was towards the NW corner. He stayed on Lindback for 5 to 10 seconds. The puck comes around and Lindback still stops it. No whistle blows. Lindback gets off his knees to crosscheck the Wild player with his goalie stick and the puck trickles through his skates. The fans booed for about 1 minute after the call. Much of that was before the replay. You can't let a player tackle your goalie. Later in the game, team Captain Trevor Smith nearly took a guys head off for ramming an Admiral into the Wild goalie. That Wild player received a minor.

Players who need to be cut from the team:
Kirkland; tonight he got a stupid penalty which cost Milwaukee a goal and eventually the game.
Richard; he has hands of stone every game, 4 G 5 A -3 in 24 games. I am surprised that he has that many points this season. He could have scored 2 tonight, but he can't shoot from more than 5 feet.

Lost in the bad call on the first Iowa goal was the Admirals again being outshot by 15 and allowing several great opportunities including a 3 on 1 that turned into a 2 on 0 that was saved by Lindback and breakaway with 3 minutes left in a tie game, which is completely unacceptable.

Seems like it. I have an E. Smith as goalie prospect for the Preds.

Admirals are on NHL Network today at 3.

I was in Chicago this afternoon. I watched the end of period 1 and all of period 2 on that U channel down there. Jake Paterson played very well in goal! He deserves more games. Kirkland got another stupid penalty, that seems to be a trend this weekend. Then Murphy took a slashing penalty to make it a 5-on-3 for a minute and a half. The PK team played very well and allowed few shots, let alone a goal. The team is close to turning it around, even in a 4-2 loss.

Kirkland showed potential last year. Not sure whats happened this year, but looks nothing like the player we saw last year.

I'm resigned to the fact that Richard is what he is. For all intents, he seemed more like dead weight that chased the puck around to make up for Ribs lack of speed last season on the Ribs/Gaudreau/Richard line.

Any idea if Kelleher is hurt or just scratched to get some rest?

I read on the Admirals Roundtable that Kelleher was hurt. Lower body injury IIRC.

Kirkland had a stupid penalty in Chicago. The Ads looked like they were going to score and the 5-on-3 broke their momentum. His play may have cost them 2 games this weekend. Bass is leaner and faster. Maybe Kirkland needs to go on Bass' diet?

Tolvanen looks like the one shiny piece in a pool of plugs. Fabbro the exception I guess, but its a good thing we are a young team with term. Where is this prospect group ranked currently? It's gotta be towards the bottom.
