I think he comes off the VRL (which is where the Devils had 'rights' to him) when he turns 35 and he did it a week ago.

i cant say for sure. he wouldnt be coming to visit nhl teams if the nhl had an issue but i have no idea

I think he could demand about $5-6M. I don't see him signing a vast multi-year deal, though. Most likely 2-3 years.

One-year deal is not implausible, really. That could happen, but I don't see him retiring soon.

I can understand the plight of your team, but I personally want him in Vancouver, so I'll decline.

If I'm Ovie and Kuznetsov....I try to sell Kovy HARD on signing a 1 year deal that fits under the cap. If he truly wants to win a cup, he will do it. Their offense would be insane if they could do it.

My guess is that they turn it around in 19/20. But you’re right, not the best destination for a cup.
