Is that international rules only? Or also NHL? That's such a rare scenario.

They said it was international. It's not in the NHL, I've seen players that ended the game in the box take a SO attempt this season.

Canada lost McDavid for the SO, and it might have cost the win. They lost to the US in 6 rounds.
