Canada with a much better performance in the second. It's going to be one heck of a third period. Proud how Switzerland played through two periods.

I’ll wager you’re tensing up a fair amount at the moment

Sweden. By far the best team of the tournament AND our historical Kryptonite.

Will be interesting to see how that D handles the Swiss style of attacking. Nilsson will have to be sharp again, can’t give up goals like those against Latvia.

I am interested in seeing how Switzerland recovers from the physical and mental exhaustion. Teams like Sweden are used to this kind of pressure. Switzerland? Not so much. I wonder if they will be spent after these two battles to the death vs Finland and Canada.
If this game was going to be played Monday or Tuesday, I would feel MUCH better about it. But the finals in just 22 hours? Not feeling it.
Switzerland's style of attacking is very "expensive", in terms of physical requirements. Relentless forecheck, high tempo, hitting. As a matter of fact, I thought that already against Canada, the third period performance was symptomatic of the team being a bit gassed, rather than just purely and squarely the effort of Canada. Just my impression.

As I already said, we looked out of our depth only with one team in this tournament and that was Sweden. The final score of 5-3 was misleading, it wasn't that close.

All things considered, I really can't see us beating you guys.

I don't remember them doing the handshake line after the medals. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound

In honor of USA vs Canada, here's the Blue Angels and Snowbirds from last week. The Snowbirds jets look like commuter jets next to the Hornets.
