I'm not sure that theres much to be done in Minnesota beyond staying the course. The time to go all in was a couple years ago when Parise and Suter were still in their prime while guys like Coyle, Granlund, Zucker etc. were all on ELC/Bridge deals.
A resurgent Eric Staal signed for a bargain and Dubnyk's reasonable deal certainly help them now, but they still don't really have the cap space to add any kind of player that would put them over the top. In a perfect world they'd ditch Ennis and Foligno, then take all their cap space and use it on Tavares. But unfortunately for the Wild this isn't a perfect world and 90% of teams probably have a similar plan for JT this offseason.
