Word is going around that Ron Greary (Icemen owner) won't be buying the Owensboro Sports Center and they won't be playing there either.

The Franchise no longer has a place to play and it's possible that it could be put up for sale if they can't another location ot play musical chairs with.

Sounds like the pirates will be returning to portland in 2017-18 along with worcester, bringing the ECHL to 29 teams.

Also possible the Las Vegas NHL team brings an ECHL team. Wonder where they would go, possibly Reno, Colorado Springs, Fresno

I assume you mean 17-18, there is no chance of them playing this season, training camps have already opened.
