That's blind faith talking. Sens were hotter IMO. maybe we scrape out a 7-game win, but hardly a certainty. When you've shown you can't get past the 2nd round, no matter the opponent, it seems foolish to assume they would here. Mentally weak is mentally weak.

The Sens are not a good team at all. They wouldn't make it past the first round if they were a Metro team. Outside of Karlsson, they can't really control the play, that's why they trap so much. We failed to get past the 2nd round against 3 different opponents. The Penguins, the Rangers and the Lightning. These teams have been the top teams in the East for the past 10 years. The Sens are nowhere close.
They were hot, but if we had survived the Penguins, we would've defeated them. Our mental weakness would've gone away from finally breaking through.
